2006-2007 Jillian just tested for the GATE program and although she feels like she failed because she
didn't make the required score of 94% in any one of the three areas ~ I think she did amazing with her
scores of 90%, 93%, and 60%!!! WOW!!! I think they need to do a recount!

She is also doing Soccer again this year, and to her families surprise ~ loves the Goalie position! (I'm
seeing missing teeth) and of the two games that her team has played this year, no one has made a goal
while she has been Goalie! Way to go Jeepy!!!

Up Date!!! December 2006

Jillian's Soccer team "K'os" won the region 393 Championship!! The team went into the play offs third and
proceeded to win every game, holding the last team to a score of 0-0 right up through the game and two 5
minute over time rounds, to win by penalty kicks.

Wow, what a heart stopper for the parents! Great job K'os!!!!

They will play division January 6th and 7th! Lets hope the girls have the team work to keep the
Championship run on track! If I have to miss this many shows I at least want our team go all the way to
state. Well, it is bitter/sweet K'os didn't make it any further than the area 10 playoffs. But I know have my
Saturdays free again. But Jillie's already signed up for next year - yes, I am crazy!!
Jillian and her friends
took ballroom
dancing. It is truly
amazing to me to see
all the 10, 11, and 12
year old boys
voluntarily out
dancing. Jillie and all
her friends look so
beautiful out there.
And of course just
when you think that
they look way to
grown up.
They do
some
thing like
this to
help you
remember
that they
are still
just 12
year olds
after all.
LOL

Well its June the 2006*2007 school year is over and Jillian did it again! She made Honor roll for the second
time this year, her school had a really nice awards ceremony and a Sunday social that evening to honor
the kids that made it both semesters.

Then the next day we went to the get acquainted night at the Middle School she will be attending next
year (OMG, I have a 7th grader!!!) And we both got really excited about her future at JW. There is a Drama
club, (what Jillian in Drama?), band class, art class, wood shop, they have the AVID program - which is a
college prep type course, and all kinds of other activities that she can join to keep her mind off
boys.

But first she is going to take the GATE test again. So I will keep you posted on how that goes.

OK the 2007*2008 school year has been underway for about a month now and Jillian
LOVES Jr. High - as if
any one thought she wouldn't. She made GATE in Language Arts and her last assignment was to write a
descriptive essay and our little drama gator through her heart and soul into it - she finally gets to write the
flowery way she likes to write.
The 2007 soccer season is in full roll and Jillie's new team is "The Black Widows" and O M gollywally (as
Jillie would say) have they wrapped up and paralyzed the competition so far - the first game they won 7-0
and then the next week they won 4-0 with three other goal attempts flying over the goals top bar. And
again Jillie is alternate goal keeper sharing the task equally her team mate.
This weeks game was postponed due to rain so we will be running between the game and the local dog
show. At least this year I am NOT team Mom, so I have a little breathing space.
